It’s that time of year again – Halloween! Costume? Check. Candy? Check. Now, what about a Halloween craft? We’ve got a fun, inexpensive and easy craft idea that you and your kids can make if you’re throwing a Halloween party or you want to pass out a treat to all of the kids in your child’s class.
It’s a creative and updated twist on the classic ghost lollipop idea. If you don’t know, it’s when you wrap a white napkin around a lollipop and tie it with some ribbon.
Here’s the secret to the project. Lifesaver candies! You use one as the base of the lollipop. If you don’t, the lollipop will fall over. With a Lifesaver, your lollipop will be able to stand up on its own.

Step 1: Print out the labels using your home printer.
Step 2: Use a pencil to outline a 7” bowl on green tissue paper. Repeat the process using a 6” bowl on orange tissue paper. (Note: each lollipop will require 2 orange tissue paper circles and 1 green one.)
Step 3: Cut the tissue paper circles using scissors.
Step 4: Place the lifesaver on the tissue paper circle. Then, place the lollipop on top of the lifesaver. The lifesaver is used as the base, which allows the lollipop to stand up straight.
Step 5: Cut your pipe cleaners in two-inch strips.
Step 6: Wrap the tissue paper up around the lollipop and secure it with the pipe cleaner.
Step 7: Take a sharpie marker and draw Jack O’ Lantern faces on the orange tissue paper.
Step 8: Peel the label off of the label stick and stick it on the top of the lollipop stick.
