Whether you’re creating essential oils for a make and take party, as a hobby, or for your small business, at some point you’ve thought about the labels to go on the bottles. For some people, the idea of labeling and packaging your product is an exciting part of the process. For others, it can be pretty daunting.
Here are some things to think about when selecting your labels for your essential oil bottles.
- We suggest an oil-resistant label – like our weatherproof labels.
- Don’t forget the lid. If your lid has a flat base, add a special touch to your bottle by adding an additional label. This added detail can help set your product apart from the others as well as help create brand identity.
- Because the labels for most essential oil bottles are small, be sure to use a simple, well-defined logo and font that is easy to read.
- Be sure to include product name, storage rules, instructions for use, ingredients, amount of liquid inside the bottle, expiration date and any other requirements the FDA may have for your type of business.
