DIY Recycled Bottle Flower Vases with Labels

Here’s an easy and inexpensive DIY that will put a smile on your face each time you look at it. It also is a great gift for your BFF. What we love most about this project is that it upcycles something that you’d normally just recycle – glass bottles!

With just a few coats of paint, you can transform a glass bottle into an adorable flower vase. We think it looks best when you paint a number of bottles happy colors and line them all up side by side.

Step 1: Print out your free downloadable labels using your home printer.

Step 2: Peel the original labels off of the bottles. The easiest way to do this is soak them in a bucket of water for about 10 minutes. The labels will peel right off.

Step 3: Paint a base coat of white paint onto the bottle. Let dry. Repeat this process one or more times. (TIP: Be sure to use a dry paint brush or foam brush per each color. It will help the paint smear on the bottle smoother and more evenly.)

Step 4: Paint over the base coat with your favorite color. Let dry. Repeat this process if necessary.
