Vintage Lifesaver Banner

If you have a kid going off to college this year or a friend that’s about to leave for a lengthy trip, you’re going to love this Vintage Lifesaver Banner! You could even use this banner for the proverbial “trip” or if someone is planning a new employment adventure. Or what about a beach-themed birthday party? This banner would be an absolutely perfect decoration for any of those special events!

Making this Vintage Lifesaver Banner couldn’t be easier as long as you have a few sheets of Mini CD Labels from, some twine, and the free printable file found below. Each label measures 3″ across and with six to a page so you can easily make your banner as long as necessary. You can use any sort of twine you’d like but I’m especially partial to the fun colors found in baker’s twine! The free printable comes with an equal amount of both blue and red lifesavers per page.

Grab the Vintage Lifesaver Banner file HERE!

You’ll be amazed how quick and easy it is to put together this banner. Just sandwich a piece of twine in between two Mini CD Labels and continue until you’re happy with the length of the banner. It’s your choice on whether you want to print out the lifesavers on both sides or save on printer ink and use blank labels on the back (in case you’ll be placing the banner against a wall or table.)

With only a few minutes of work, you now have an adorable Vintage Lifesaver Banner for your special event! Using Mini CD Labels from not only makes this banner look great but also makes assembly crazy easy. I love how all their labels remove so easily! Hope this banner comes in handy for your Bon Voyage party and that you have fun making it!
