Thanksgiving Wine Labels + Free Printables

Whether you’re hosting Thanksgiving this year, attending a Friendsgiving or heading over to your mother-in-law’s house, it’s always nice to share a bottle of wine.

I always bring a bottle of wine when I’m invited to a party or gathering, but I like to add a special touch to it. That’s why I designed these cute Thanksgiving labels. In fact, using Maestro Label Designer, you can personalize a wine label for whatever gathering you are attending. Going to a friend’s 40th bday party? Heading to a holiday party? Saying goodbye to a co-worker? A friend is going through a breakup? You can make your own custom labels so easily and then print them off on your home printer. OnlineLabels.com offer a few different shaped wine labels, check them out here. I used OL150 4″ x 3.33.”

Told you it was easy!

The hardest part of this project is to take the previous wine label off of the bottle.

Here’s an easy way to do it:

Instructions:

Step 1: Soak the wine bottle in a bucket filled with hot water and add a few tablespoons of baking soda for thirty minutes.

Step 2: Peel off the label. If the label is giving you some trouble, take a craft knife or a razor blade and scrap any excess off.

Step 3: Stick your wine label on the bottle.

Personalized wine (or even beer) bottles are great conversation starters. They can be funny or sentimental.

If you’re hosting this year, send your guests home with a left over goodie bag decorated with cute labels, of course. Check out these examples.
