This Halloween, throw a monster mash featuring these adorable and easy-to-make marshmallow treats. Honestly, they take only minutes. However, your guests are going to rave about how clever you are. Trust me, it’s so easy and it’s almost impossible to mess up these treats and accidentally turn them into a Pinterest-fail. Also, the best part about this project is that it’s inexpensive.
I decided to go with a nontraditional Halloween color palate. But, you can totally go with the traditional orange and black. Or, make it look like a candy corn monster by double dipping into orange and yellow frosting.
What’s also really cool about this treat is that you can also tailor to other holidays as well. For Christmas, use red and green sprinkles. For Valentine’s Day, go with pinks and red and for St. Patties, focus on green.

Step 1: Cut ¼” of your paper straw off with scissors. Stick the tip of your paper straw into the marshmallow.
Step 2: Microwave the frosting for 30 seconds to liquefy it. Dip the marshmallow into the frosting.
Step 3: Place your dipped marshmallow on parchment or wax paper. Let the excess drip off.
Step 4: Drizzle your sprinkles over the frosting. Press the candy eyes onto the marshmallow. Place the marshmallows in the refrigerator for 30 minutes so the frosting can set.
