If you have a book lover on your holiday gift giving list, these free printable book plates will make a great gift. I also have a holiday gift idea for you to help you package those book plates up in a jar for a fun gift that they are sure to love. Start with OnlineLabels.com’s gold foil labels for some gorgeous book plates that all literature fans will love. Then, add in other items for a gift-in-a-jar that is beautiful and a great gift idea.
Click here to print our free printable book plates onto OL1186 labels in gold foil. For this craft, I included an Amazon gift card and a small hand held light for reading in our gift. Anything that your book lover might enjoy that will fit in a mason jar can be included with your gift!
Remove the surround from the label sheet and trim the labels into individual book plates. This makes sure they will easily fit inside of the jar.
The post cards are perforated so they tear into four pieces easily.
Then, just fold in half, punch a hole, and write a sentiment to the inside of the card.
I tied that onto our jar with some twine.
I also made a festive bow for the top of the gift from an old book. You can use any vintage book you have on hand for this. Follow along with the short video below to see how to assemble your own bow from any book pages that you may have!
Add your bow to the top of your gift!
I used a green mason jar for my gift craft, but you can use any that you have on hand. One tip is that a wide mouth jar works best for inserting a gift card. The free printable book plates look perfect from the inside of a mason jar. Any book lover on your holiday gift list is sure to love this thoughtful gift.
