Mason Jar Salad Recipes + Free Printable

Mason jar salads rock. They are so pretty and colorful. It’s also guaranteed that you’ll receive “oohs” and “ahhs” from your coworkers when you bring these into the office for your lunch. Best part: These salads are also totally convenient. All you have to do is make a few on Sunday night and grab-and-go Monday morning.

As I was making these salads, I thought it’d be fun to decorate the tops of the jars with labels that say the different days of the week. What’s super cool about these labels? 1: I used Online Labels’s waterproof labels 2.5″ circles (OL350 LP). (I’ve washed them numerous times in the dishwasher and they look brand new. I don’t think the ink will be rubbing off anytime soon either.) 2: I had Online Labels print them out for me. They send them to me in the mail and I don’t have to worry about printing from my home printer.

Days of the Week Label Printable

I created three different layered salad recipes for you to enjoy.

1. Caprese Salad

2. Cobb Salad

3. Southwestern Salad

(The trick to keep these salads fresh is to put the salad dressing on the bottom and the lettuce or herbs on the top.)

Construction of these salads are simple. All you have to do is layer one ingredient on top of the other.

1. Caprese Salad:

  • Balsamic reduction glaze
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Mini mozzarella cheese balls
